While I am primarily a fiction writer, I also produce poetry, creative non-fiction, and editorial pieces. My creative work mostly deals with themes of identity, home, place, and belonging. As for editorial, I have written on a range of topics including personal finance, travel, beauty, TV and film criticism, and food/cooking. My primary interests are in racial justice, gender, sexuality, cultural criticism, and social justice.
My fiction has appeared in the Kartika Review,Blue Lyra Review, Writers Tribe Review, Rio Grande Review, and the 2012-2013 Kartika Review Anthology of Asian Pacific Islander American Literature. I hold a Creative Writing degree from Colby College and have completed workshops with the Asian American Writers Workshop and the Sackett Street Workshop in New York City.
